ndshelton, that will be unbearably hot without aircon
When in Rome do as the Romans do........
I hope your not being rude paully....you know what the romans are famous for!!
I know shell...maybe i have read that wrong...oh well will have to wait and see...nicole
nicole, we stayed in a hotel last year where you could eat inside the dining room or on a terrace overlooking the sea which led from the dining room, most people opted for the terrace as the dining room had no aircon and it really was hot in there. Some people did chose to sit in there though but then again it wasn't a requirement to wear long trousers
Yes shell..i think our hotel has an outside bit as well..but wherever we eat i think it will be blooming hot!!..nicole
It will nicole but you hopefully you'll adjust to the heat and you may be lucky and have a breeze. It was very breezy in Crete last year and it did make it more bearable of an evening
So if you see a hotel that wants men to wear trousers in the evening and you don't like the idea then choose another property if it really is such a big deal to you.
It's not so much minding sunbear..its just i have my hubbys best interests at heart..not other peoples...dont even think my hotel has a dress code after all this fuss...nicole
And also i dont think hubby wants to wear a cheap pair of chinos from matalan as someone suggested...he would rather wear a nice pair of jeans really..its me who thinks he will need to wear shorts because of the heat...nicole
I have to say when I'm holidaying in hot countries (the Far East) jeans are the most uncomfortable thing to wear, much better off with looser fitting clothing. You could always treat him to some expensive chinos.
One plus for long trousers is they stop your legs getting bitten by mozzies in the evening.
Why don't you get your hubby to go down to the restaurant in long trousers, then when youv'e ate all he has to do is go back up to the room and change. Most hotels these days let men in with 3/4 lengths. I think it's the short sporty looking shorts they object too!
i may just phone Thomas cook and ask for EXACT details,,
(what are the rules on hairy armpits>????) only kidding>!
Lol cazzmickntom....dont think he'll be wearing those type..not with his legs...nicole
As you will note from my name I live and work in Qatar in the Gulf,at present here its +/- 45c I wear LONG TROUSERS to work Chinos,so I am sure 1.5hrs in long trousers in an Air cond restaurant isnt going to hurt anyone.
Not sure if it's got aircon tho gatarman
Just checked on hotel reviews..nope...no aircon in dining room!!!
there is no aircon in my hotel dining room either, we go to fuetuventura in 2 weeks.
hi ..madasafishy..again... ..when do you go on holiday......regards...john-doe
