You're welcome. I can't remember exactly how much it was to rent the fan, I think maybe it was about 40 Euros but you got 30 of that back if you returned the fan undamaged? I'll check with the others that were there too and let you know for sure. We had one of the apts that sleeps 6 and ended up hiring 3 fans, one for each room!
Before we went, I had heard too that there was a security patrol - never saw or heard a peep from them. Plenty of rowdiness in the hotel and I can't remember anyone being told off.
Hope you have a fab time!

What are the rooms actually like? ive been trying to find pictures of the ACTUAL appartment but cnt find at all!! is it 2 rooms of 3 beds or 3 rooms of 2 beds? is there a lounge area? and kitchen? dont have a clue really.
The room for 6 has two bedrooms, a bathroom and a lounge area with kitchenette and balcony. The lounge area sleeps two and has a sofa with a pull out bed underneath (one on sofa, one on pull out bed) - I recommend running for the room when you get to the hotel to make sure you don't end up sleeping in the lounge - it didn't look too comfy! The bedrooms each have two single beds, bedside cabinets and fitted wardrobes, so plenty of storage space.
In the room for 4, it has a similar layout but with only one bedroom.
There was plenty of room in both of our apartments, we had 5 people in the room for 6 and 4 in the room for 4. For some reason we all ended up congregating in the smaller of the two rooms - think they must have taken longer to get ready than us!!
As for the decor, white walls with a kind of peach flowery fabric used for the bed sheets and upholstery, all fairy inoffensive. It is the same for all the Fiesta hotels in Magaluf so if you find a pic of any of them you're pretty much gonna see the same thing.
The rooms are very basic, nothing fancy, but cetainly a better standard than the last two hols I've been on with Club 18-30. Are you going with Freestyle? That's who we travelled with, and they were far superior to CLub 18-30, they were more helpful, left you to get on with it instead of being in your face all the time and their excursions were better. And the hotel was of a higher standard.
Hope this helps!

They are exclusive to Freestyle as I remember, so full of lads and ladies just wanting to have a good time. The rooms are basic but adequate, and were clean. The pool was small, but again adequate and if you want a better, bigger pool area then you can use the pool at the Jungla or the Sahara round the corner.
From the apts, it is about 10mins walk to the strip, BCM is fairly close and Pirates is literally round the corner. It's really close to McDonalds as well, so you'll never go hungry!
Hope this helps!

Always helpful, thank you. having a 6 bed room, ive organised it and inform the other guys of any details, but think i'll keep this info to myself and get a bedroom instead of argueeing for the next 5 months. it dosnt sound to bad at all. You seem to know alot about this which is great, however would you know anywhere i could get decent pics from it? going with freestyle, as wasnt very keen on 18/30. thanks again for the info!!
Good plan! I had a look through my pics the other night and couldn't find any decent ones of the rooms, but I'll ask around. If I can find any I'll email you them. Still haven't had any definitive answers about the fans, I think we were so hot and dehydrated that we just handed the money over without question! You'll have a fab time - don't worry at all about the hotel, the holiday will be what you make it!
Myself and 5 mates are going on the 2nd of May too and from what I gather we got the last room in the hotel coz I had to fight for it! So pretty sure the hotel will busy if no where else is!
Hello,
very basic!! no hot water what else can i say :(our rooms were dirty
we stayed at the fiesta jungla down the road and a few of our friends who couldn't get any availability stayed at the magamar and said it was great! they had one of the 6 person sized rooms for two so they each had their own bedroom but even the smaller size apartments were good! the pool isn't the best but they just used ours at the jungla. we are going back to maguluf this sept and are staying at the magamar as we couldn't get any availability this time round. it's worth it cos you have the reps on hand as it's a freesytle property but you can use facilities at fiesta jungla. and everything within walking distance aswell. are you going with club freestyle?
i'm staying in the fista jungla this year it's meant to be the best lively accommodaton
hey, were going in early september
His drink in the hotel bar was spiked!
He hadn't drank that much (so knows it wasn't the drink), but doesn't remember anything only that when he came round he was wearing only his boxers!!
His phone, clothes, wallet including his money and cards were stolen.
He was ill for 2 days afterwards.
The bar man told him he hadn't left the hotel.
Don't want to scare monger just be aware and be careful.
