Just looked on thomas cook website and i cant find one holiday to FO they may have already pulled the contract 
Dannyh made a good point what if they are refurbishing the rooftop we wouldn't be allowed up there in March/April either it just gets worse. Carol
never thought of that carol, maybe the refurbishment is finished, has anyone heard back from the hotel yet?.. i ended up just phoning direct holidays again (they will be sick listening to me) and they are saying my holiday here is guaranteed but they still havent heard anything back as yet in regards to the rooftop. think il wait and see what they do say about it then write to them because i wont settle till i get it in black and white.

I've sent another email, and asked them to please reply to this one, otherwise I will have no alternative than to contact the head office of Med Playa, and I will if they ignore this email. I've kept copies of the emails, and I will forward them, I cannot abide ignorance.........Linda.

I did originally put this hotel at the top of my list for booking for summer 2010 as a change from our usual self catering accomodation put will scratch it off now and go back to the drawing board.

This hotel doesn't deserve any trade if they can't reply to e-mails, I'm sure they're doing themselves a lot of harm by treating customers like this as no-one will book with them again. Serves them right for being so greedy.

We booked in May 08 for Oct 09 with Thomas Cook. Got a great deal. After a couple of weeks it was no longer available on the TC website (which concerned me but I though sold out at that price).
We have never been to FO so hope all works out well. Thought the price too good to be true!!

Been following this thread for a while now and just want to mention that you can still book on the Thomas Cook site up to and including April.
hi tony, we know they are still using it upto the end of april ,its from may onwards that the changes come in regarding rooftop,and the fact that they arent selling anymore holidays to it from then onwards. im just waiting to see what they come back with in regards to rooftop and find out what my options are .im actually hoping now i can cancel without losing my deposit as i have lost all faith in them .

Im going here with 4 friends 18-21 beginning of June! Just wondering what its like? is it suitable for people my age? And are the beds single or double? Id prefer single beds! Read alot of reviews and i dont think ive seen any bad ones!

We've always had single beds when we've been there, the bedrooms and bathrooms are huge. It is more a family hotel but there were a few people around your age in there. There's a good selection of food so you can always find something you like.
I have e.mailed the hotel on a couple of occasions before and asked for a certain room and have got a reply very quickly and got the room I asked for.I have e.mailed them last week about the carry on with the roof top pool as we are going in May 2009 but guess what,no reply.If we cant use the roof top pool then I am going to change to another hotel,probably the flamingo benidorm,we dont smoke so there no smoking rule wont bother me.I will never book the FO again and I think other people will feel the same as me.
We feel exactly the same Volvo. Carol
