Booked!!

Definitely Bristol Airport 14.05 out and 00.35 returning 2nd - 16th June 2009

Free child place & £120 discount - £1969 total cost including free inflight meals & the full 20kg luggage allowance.

Got me worried about the flight times now though....I'll be very unimpressed if they change them later on as they are the best times out of a bad bunch!!

Only 11 months to go!!

hmmm just checked and Portlands price is now £1200 more than I have paid with DH. Did notice though that their child price is going up to 14 against DH,s 12 . Not sure if that has always been the case. :think

Just had a look at price for the hemera because 3 more people are wanting to come, the number of people going has grown from 3 of us to 13 now but should be fun.

TC has change the gatwick flight times for the tuesday date. 15.35 instead of 14.55 but coming back not arriving till 01.15 instead of 12.35. The original flight times were 14.30 out and 23.55 return. The way its going it will soon be a night flight.

DD still haven't got the hemera but all of the other TC companies have.

Still looking for the best price for my parents.

No hotel rooms available with all the TC companies only apartments with TC, been waiting for the direct holidays to have the hemera agin but nothing yet. Thomson, portland and cosmos have availability but are expensive.

I don't know what is going on with TC companies and the hemera this year, they have hotel rooms on sale and then they don't and then they do and now they don't. If DD has the hemera back I am hoping the price for 3 adults will still be between £2300 and £2400 for early august but some how I doubt it, probably join all the £3000+ price.

What beer do they have at the hemera

The year we stayed at the Hemera,we received a Christmas card from them with the prices of rooms if you booked direct.I dont know the hotels exact web address but this may work out cheaper than booking with an agent.

Direct holidays have hemera again but it doesn't come up on their site but on thomas cook site, price has gone up now. Chapest for my parents is portland flying from luton 2 adults and a child 14 £2700. It was only a matter of time before the price increased. Quite happy got the cheapest price by booking in MAY

Just booked a bargain - 21 october, day flights from newcastle for a week - 459 each!!!! Thought that was good. This is with Portland who came in the cheapest by a long way. They have a better room allocation than Thomas Cook.

David DD have their winter programme for the Hemera on sale starting 1st November, give them a call on 08448007989, the time you want is a crossover time between summer and winter programmes. 1st November to 12 is in the brochure for £409 per person for 7 nights or £549 for 14 Nights.

I have booked the Hemera for May 2009. I've read various reviews about the hotel itself, but does anyone know if the hotel provides a turkish bath as part of the AI package? What do you wear :que and is it a masseur or masseuse :yikes It's my first time to Turkey, and must say I can't wait...

When i was there you could use the turkish bath - ie sit in the sauna type marble room but if you wanted a rub down and oil massage you had to pay extra.

You wear your swimsuit and they give you a cotton wrap to go over.

Generally in tourist turkish baths its a man that does the rub down and both ladies and men who do the oil massage.

If your going to do it - do it on your first day, it will help you keep your tan much longer and you wont get it rubbed off when they exfoliate you.

I hope that helps
