The Olympus Palace is a much nicer looking hotel that the Jaime I and is also much better furnished.
The Jaime I may have more British staying though as the Olympus Palace is extremely popular with the Dutch & Germans etc.
If you don't mind the cosmopolitan atmosphere then I would go for this one (in fact most hotels in Salou are very mixed nationalities).
The Olympus palace is right by Zaragoza Street, one of the main shopping areas, you walk straight down this road for 5/10 minutes and your at the sea front.
