Location of this hotel is pretty ok. It is very close to Macy's and about a 10 min walk to Time Square.

Have heard a lot of not so good reports about this hotel but main thing to remember is that when in NY all you will really do is sleep in the hotel. Maybe worth throwing a pair of clean sheets in your case just in case.

Thanks for all your help and advice, we have decided to stick with our booking and try to upgrade to the Penn 500 rooms when we get there, if the rooms are dirty I'll just have to clean it!! Worth the risk for the location. Thanks again Alison
