A good question Paul, no doubt like me you have checked the Balkan Holidays website and found the descriptions to be identical.

I think you will find that superior rooms are recently renovated whilst the standard ones are somewhat old and tired.

to be honest when we stayed there there was not a lot of difference, just carpets in the rooms and different doors and there used to be room for 3 but has since been updated again since last we stayed B/F was very good other than that the meals wernt that good, we also paid for sun loungers around the pool,that can work out quite expensive, the taxi drivers are honest and provided marvelous day trips ask for Yan, but overall a very clean hotel
