Hi Myra,

The suites are really nice. We had a look around one last time we went. The hotel is soo peaceful we are already looking to book again for june next year! (We have been twice this year-Once in June and again in Sept) :cheers .

Playa d Muro is about a 5/10 min walk with plenty of shops there and on the way! We have also walked into the Bellevue area and on to the port of Alcudia (again plenty of shops). In the hotel you are close enough to everything you need without being on top of all the other hotels. An ideal location-ENJOY!

i think it will be this hotel after what you and others are saying was thinking of august . this might sound silly but how high are the suites i always book a high floor as that's just my preference .

Hiya, You can have a ground or first floor suite. They are really nice, balconys front and back. A large garden overlooking the beach.

Just come back from this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Would recommend it for a totally chill out holiday.

Jim I tried that email address a few times last year and it wasn't working thenThey gave me this one on their card last year on my last visit: reservas@hotelplatjador.net but I think it could be the same one that is not working??

My son worked there for 2 summers when it was a Thomson Gold hotel. At that time, the hotel closed for the winter, and only opened on 1st May. And when it was shut...it was shut, and everything was wrapped up and put away. There wouldn't be anyone working at reception.

Maybe you could try again in a few days time? It does seem odd though, you would think they would find some way of dealing with email correspondence and potential bookings.......

Its no longer a Gold hotel,but is adults only A/I. well thats what the site says,Iv'e booked for 10 days at the start of Sept,so I will wait for your review.

Hiya, It's no longer a thomson gold, but it is a fab place to stay. We are back there for a fortnight the last week in June. Can't wait!

Stayed here for a week last month and was very impressed. Rooms fine, good aircon and plenty space. Worth contacting the hotel and requesting a sea-view room. Food much better than I expected and entertainment very good overall. Can't think of anything to complain about really.
No beach towels provided.

Never got a reply from my email so I wrote to the hotel requesting a sea-view room. No idea if they received it but I got the room anyway.
