Thanks. We're not going till the 30th September so it'll be pot luck with the weather. I'll tell hubby he has to sit outside in the rain for his puff, ha ha ha.
We had a great time, except a word of warning before I continue ..
Its not the best idea to go in the top end of the main weeks
The rooms are modern , bit small but cleaned every day and comfortable.
*"The rooms on the corridor by the steps near to the bar, are not as modern as the other rooms"*
The entertainment is by a British run company "let us entertain you".
The manager Eva will do anything she can to help you.
You get served quick at bar early evening but as the night goes on theres a 5-10min wait.
Theres 2 pools one with a pool side snack bar .
Some people qued up for sun loungers but this wont be the case off peak.
Food - there was a large selection each evening but if you stay 2 weeks, food may be a bit to re-occuring, but they also had an excellent carvery each evening to.
Kids will love it.
You have to walk through the town (one long street) and then your at the loovveelly beach. Theres a bus shuttle, from 10.30-11.30 each morning and its picks you up at 4pm, no need to book or go on both ways , just hop on.
I rate this holiday 8/10
Please disregard the bad reviews, these are most likely from people not used to AI in the main weeks.
Thanks Mitch
I was just wondering if anyone could help me; my boyfriend and I are thinking of booking a stay at the Hotel Villa Marina in September with First Choice, but the flight times mean that we will arrive in the early hours of the morning - does anyone know whether you can go straight to your room on arrival?
This may be a stupid question but it's our first holiday together and we're a bit clueless!!
Any information on this would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Jo Hall
I'm assuming you are travelling through the night, if so then yes, you will have your room. Be aware though that you will are more than likely to have to check out of your room by midday on your last day
I think that will depend on which day you have booked as your arrival day. If you have booked it for the day prior to travel then you will be ok but if you have booked it for say the Saturday and you arive at 4am on the Saturday then you might not be so lucky.
Just booked for this July, Ive heard that there have been a few improvements over winter, does anybody know more?
