For an ideal location just by the harbour at Kyrenia - you may want to try the British Hotel. An original hotel and the highest rooms have views across the harbour.

The other "original" hotel is the Dome Hotel, situated a little further round from the harbour (10 mins walking).

Otherwise, there are a number of resort type hotels set in gardens a few km out of Kyrenia itself on the main road into the resort from Nicosia. Check they offer transfers into the resort as some of them are a bit off the beaten track.

I would recommend either Pia Bella or Sammys, they are about 1/2 mile outside Kyrenia and took us ( mature people!) roughly 20mins. to walk there. I could only walk in either the morning or evening as other times were too hot for me.The Dome is ok but we do like a hotel that has gardens and trees, always think the Dome looks a bit bare but has a good reputation. We have also stayed twice at the Ship hotel which is a bit further out, either need a taxi or dolmus into kyrenia. The Ship is very friendly, virtually no children as there is nothing for them!!. Has a lovely outdoor pool and small indoor one.
