A possibility might be the Viva Tropic, which is near the port, only a few minutes walk into the centre and to the beach. It certainly has entertainment and a bigger pool than the Alcudia. Not sure about the board basis, but check out the site - http://www.hotelsviva.com

I think you can opt for breakfast only or for half board. Anyone else got firmer info?

We stayed at the Bahia de Alcudia, half board, and it was very good.
Far enough from the crowds but near enough to all the bars restraunts and only 5 mins walk to beach.

Hi We stayed half board at viva tropic got an excellent deal through jet2holidays,also the viva golf is very good but is adults only and a more exspensive than the tropic,
