Not sure how far it is to Puerto Rico, but there are boat trips from Puerto Rico to Mogan leaving from the harbour. It takes about 20 minutes by boat and it is lovely. Go on a Friday morning, there is a market in Mogan on a Friday morning.

you can actually catch the boat trip at Argueinguin instead of rico and that will take about 15 mins on the notorway from PDI the boat goes from there past Patalavaca and Anfi and into Puerto Rico and then to Mogan and return likewise , have a look around argueguin as it is a very nice town and has a amazing fish restaraunt on teh quayside called Carrido where all teh locals et what has been cuaght that day , and its next to where the boat is
