We have spent 15 years at PR at new year.
The weather a bit hit and miss that time of year.
We have had a week of sun and also 4 days out of the seven with rain and thunder storms.
Bars and restaurants charge a lot at new year and it is best to book if you want a meal.
New years eve was very busy (A nightmare to get a taxi.)
But the rest of the time we found to be quiet.
Now we don't have to worry about school holidays we have now stopped going for new year and tend to go the week after or arrive on new years day because it is so much cheaper than being there for the new year.
We feel it is to much to pay for one speicial night when you get ripped off everything you buy..
