Hi everyone,
We had a complete disaster of a honeymoon in March, in Egypt with TC.
We complained to the rep, we filled in the complaint forms, we sent them a 6 page complaint letter when we got back. (recorded delivery)
They sent us an acknowledgement 2 weeks later, and a further letter 2 weeks after that stating that they were carrying out investigations. This is what is set out in the ABTA code of conduct.
I cant see any details of how long they now have to give us an answer, we have asked for a full refund and compensation, but would like to know when to expect an answer, mainly because we are moving house next month and want to know whether to redirect our mail for 3 or 6 months!
Should we write to them again?
Thanks for any advice,
HGx
Going from memory they have to reply within 28 days but the letter acknowledging your complaint is the usual ploy.
From previous posts here on HT you will be several months waiting with no guarantee of a satisfactory conclusion.
