Hi Polly, Limca is the local drink made by Coke a Cola (I think), it tastes like lime and lemon with a slight ginger after taste, but it works really well with HoneyBee, the nearest you get to it in the Uk is 7Up or Sprite; talking of Sprite, this makes a refreashing shandy with a Kingfisher

Limca is like tradtional lemonade. Her sister is Miranda and this is like Orangeade. I like to mix these both with a bit of Vodka. Limca and Vodka is a bit like the early nineties drink HOOCH. However I found on the web that there has been talk of Limca and Miranda containing dodgy colourings, plus they are full sugar.
So you might want to try traditional Diet Coke/Pepsi or Soda to mix you drinks.
Me however, a little bit in moderation.... a few Limcas and Vodkas on holiday is what I look forward too..

Oh thanks for all the replies. Now its nearly here I cant believe it. We booked second week in January! I am definitely going to try the Honeybee and the Limca. Have a fabulous Christmas and a super holiday

Haha, yes, i do tend to agree with this, or i did in my younger days.
But when im on holiday i generally do not start drinking until around 7pm, think im scared of the heat getting to me
I'm the same Yummymummy, don't like drinking too much in the day, tend to start at 1700rs, that seems to have become tradition over the years. But one in the morning is definately hang over cure.

Donna - When im hungover in Goa, i usually drink lots of their horrible coffee in the morning before heading to the beach, then have a kingfisher with some cereal in the beach shack around 11am, then im back on the limca, or coke until around 7pm .. thats what happens every year
