It would be nice if a new member was able to get the info she has asked for without the negative posts.
As I am way past clubbing days Channon, I am unable to help you there but I'm sure someone will be able to give you some help.

I really dont think yopu r kids will have a problem in any of the clubs, your 12 year old might not get served, but i'd doubt if they wouldnt get entry

channon,
no idea what the negative posts were, I hope this doesn't come under that heading.
I honestly can't think of much that a 12 year old could do in an evening, except seeing the life in the restaurants or maybe entertainment in the hotel etc.
I would definately try to take nintendo or similar just as a back up.
I'm sat looking at what I have posted trying to think of something helpful, but can't. sorry
Hopfully there will be someone of a similar age in the hotel and they can pal up
Sorry to be so downbeat, i know it's the last thing you want to hear, maybe someone else has got some ideas.
Perhaps you can tire him out on the beach during the day so all he will want on an evening is an early night :D

We first took my daughter at age 14 and she loved it. She has been back a number of times since in the last 8 years, and this is the only place we go that gets her jealous. Your older kids will find lots to do at night, and the younger will just have to soak up the atmosphere and people watch. It is such a mad place though, that there is always something going on.

hi,
i was 15 when i first went to goa and i had no trouble getting into clubs, bars etc... and i think they serve pretty much everyone. Your 12 year old wil be able to go with them as long as the older kids make sure they take care of him.

Thanks for that, i dont know why there were some negative replys i only asked a question as im new to this and just wanted some help, but anyway i cant wait to go to Goa especially looking forward to the elephants and eating lots of GOAN food, i normally go to Greece so will be a nice change, is the flight as bad as i heard flying with monarch but have upgraded.

I think you would have found there was only one negative post and myself and Harikrishna condemed that post(admittedly in a rather ironic way, hence our posts being removed) so don't think there were many condeming you because there weren't :) I'm sure there is the same for a 12 yr old in Goa as there is on any other holiday (other than say Florida) our youngest is also 12 and enjoys having a meal, people watching etc however admittedly he does always take his psp in case he gets bored  . I,m sure the flight will be fine given you have upgraded, anyway enjoy your build up and happy holidays 8)

I'm 25... although I act like a 12 year old  plenty to do for everyone... although a bit of research does help as I don't think I would have done half as much in Goa if I hadn't found this site, sometimes finding things to do isn't always easy, especially in Goa, good places to eat and drink aren't always that obvious!

Go Karting which I think is in Arpora.

I doubt very much that channon meant that she wanted the 12 year old out drinking... just some advice on things to do - I agree with Fizzy about the go carts, we went in March (it's right next to where Ingo's was/is) there were lots of kids (and adults) there and they seemed to be enjoying themselves.

When I first went my son was 12 years old and was entertained for entire two weeks of holiday. Admittedly he had his Nintendo/PSP with him, but we went in many different bars and restaurants and he was most welcome, obviously drinking soft drinks, but entertained by whatever was going on, music, dancing etc, or playing pool watching sport on TV etc etc. We also went to various night markets, Panjim & Mapusa for meals & shopping etc, and did the go-karts which are excellent. Enjoy !! :) :) :)

Dont know what HariKrishna said but wouldn't worry about it. Sure it was a missunderstanding.

As for things to do at night for the young lad.
There is a skate park if he's into that.
Bars with pool and live sports
Affordable Go-Karting

All the people over there are so friendly he'll have plenty of people to chat to.

As well as all the other suggestions. I'm sure he'll love it. As stated a Nintendo or the like may be a good idea though.

Cheers i think my son would love the Go-Karting, how far from calungute area and how much? i might even have a go, is their really a water park?

I can't remember how much it was, but it wasn't alot - it is in Apora which is a short taxi ride from calangute! It is right next to Ingos Night Market so if it is back on when you go you can combine the two - Like we did!
