nearest htop is the royal star about 5 minutes up the hill going towards fanals area. there is also the alexis going the other way, but that hotel is even worse than casino IMHO.
most hotels in costa brava have young students staying in late april/early may, and i dont think it makes a great deal of difference which hotel you pick except that some of the 4* hotels might tolerate their antics slightly less than the 3* hotels.

There is a hotel nearer it is called the hotel Alexis it is up a steep hill to the left as you come out the front door it has a rooftop bar and is hardly used as nobody seems to know about it it is nice and quiet
