Went I was there, there were two different hotels. They were in Nabq Bay and were were two hotels between them. There was the Red Sea Holiday Village, which was the never one and had a lot of swim up rooms, I stayed here and it was very nice.

Then there were a couple of hotels one was the Laguna Vista Resort and the other the Oriental, you then got to The Coral Sea Resort, which was slightly older and didnt have swim up rooms, but still got very good reports as well.

Hopefully none of these have had major name changes.

Can you get on google maps ? If so you can see it all on there, where it might make more sense.

Thanks for your reply, Yes we haved booked through First Choice, the reviews on here say Holiday Village Red Sea AKA Coral Sea Holiday Village so I am thinking that they are the one & the same! We stayed at the Coral Sea Imperial 2 years ago (also owned by this Hotel) and had a great time. The HVRS has the swim up rooms but we have beeked a suite as the Swim up only take 3 people!
Have you any idea where the suites are situated on the complex?

Sorry Debs I don't know. I went with two older children so booked two twin rooms and we were at the back of the complex.

Compared to a lot of the hotels in Sharm it isn't that big so wherever you are you aren't far from any of the facilities.

I think we were in Block 13 or 14 and these were at the top of the hotel near the heated pool and away from the beach end of the hotel. I think the better rooms are more towards the sea end - not that there was anything wrong with our rooms they were fine.

There is a big thread on here about the holiday village, I will see if I can find it. If you have a trawl through you might find a post from someone who stayed in a suite.

My daughter did her diving from the Coral Sea Imperial Beach, which I think is gonna be the Sensatori when it re-opens. I'm going to Hilton Sharks Bay in a couple of months time FCO permitting, will probably have a whole wing to myself !
