well folks we arrived yesterday afternoon at the Agean Village on Kos, weather is great food well up to their usual standards, many staff changes since our last visit but all seem to be friendly and mainly Greek, key personnel from previous years remain,THE BIG DIFFERENCE is our room yes its the same one we usually have BUT i was un-prepared for what we saw when we opened the door,in past years it was well maintained traditional style, NOW it has been completely transformed,with a full refurbishment in modern Greek/International style, all the main communal areas have also undergone the upgrade, I will be posting new pictures in my media file as the week progresses,

well another scorching hot day here, we have booked a trip for Sunday to Nisyros including volcano and village trip [looking forward to that one not been to Nisyros with all our trips to Kos

Make sure that you go down in to the volcano crater - some people stay at the cafe at the top and miss out big time on the sulphur infusion!

yes very lucky the hotel has taken good care of us, offferd to let us keep the room on but as we had already packed we declined, and they have given us our evening meal , only extra cost to us is a couple of drinks and probably an extra day parking which first choice rep has already told us to claim back
