I just cannot decide, need help

Hubby and i are have 10 days over Easter in Florida. Just soaking up a few rays , doing a bit of shopping, and looking around the area. Very relaxed.

Have done all the theme parks with the family last Oct. So just want to have a bit of us time.

The problem is i cannot decide between Clearwater Beach or St Pete Beach or any of the many in that area. Can any one give any feedback on which is the nicest one to wake up with a view of in the morning. Also the nicest areas to stroll in the evening, although we will have a car.

Have stayed in St Pete's and we drove up to Clearwater one afternoon. Both lovely you can't go wrong really. We stayed at the Tradewinds Island Grand (booked though either Hotwire or Priceline at a good rate). Hilton in Clearwater seemed central from memory. Would be keen to hear what others say, as we'd love to go back to that area and would like to hear what people think of Clearwater as a base.

We stayed at Treasure Island, lovely beach and walking distance from Johns Pass which is a nice area to browse around, we stayed at the Bilmar Beach Resort but there's loads of accommodation in that area, as Lesley said you can't really go wrong.

Thanks both of you. I had sort of decided on the Hilton clearwater as it gets good reviews and i get a good price through the BA staff site.

I just wish that the many times we have done the parks at Orlando we ha taken a look at the area. I hate staying somewhere and thinking i wish i was just up the road.

Although i must admit that due to this site and Trip Advisor it has not happened yet. Oh and at least the sun will be out :tup
