I've found a bug in the database that needs fixing...this too will be done tonight. This is the cause of some hotels not appearing so, whilst you may request a hotel to be added, it may come online anyway once I fix the database.

If you post for a hotel addition I will get to them asap if the fix doesn't bring them online.

Every time I try to go into the Portugal site (Europe), no mattter what I click on it comes up with Poland????

Look at the posts four and five before yours.

I tried it to see where it led to but have deleted my dates now. Not keen on this to be honest. I see if you click on a name it takes you right to pm them. Can brand new members opt into this? The idea of meets for a general area is good and we already have that going really successfully in Goa. But its something you can easily opt out of on the day if you have second thoughts.
On the media gallery we already have the facility to organise group meets but unfortunately its not been advertised here enough. I think its a bit "safer" for an area meet. Goa members- we already have a group set up where you can discuss arrangements etc or just talk about the meets in more detail than you might want to on a public forum. Members have also got to apply to be part of the group.
Sorry- you know I'm usually always for initiatives but its not for me, this one.
I'm looking forward to the new hotel reviews though- are they still going ahead?

Just thinking on Fiona's post. Is there a way for a member to be able to find out where and when another member is going on holiday? Obviously if you are going to the same place and at the same time as that member it will show once that particular member puts in their info. What I wouldn't be comfortable with is a member entering my name somewhere just to find out where and when I was going. This could potentially lead to stalking but I don't think there is a way to do this

No problem entering my details this evening, but I noticed a few hotels in the Malta section were replicated.

Fiona... This service gives you a list of who is going to what hotel and resort at the same time as you. regarding the pm system. In my first post I said:

Our system will then show you all other holidaymakers travelling to either the same region or the same hotel within the dates you enter and allow you, subject to member status, to contact the other parties.

The member status situation still applies regarding PMs...those with a low status will not be able to PM

But its something you can easily opt out of on the day if you have second thoughts.

Yep that's next. As it will use the same hotel database this needs to be correct before moving onto the next stage.

No that is not possible. Only people going to the same resort/hotel at the same time as you are visible. There is no search option for finding when someone is away in general.

I tried and clicked Spain, then Tenerife, but it brought up Menorca

can I also just point out that the cabello hotel in Costa del sol is listed twice- once under Torremolinos and again under La Carihuella. Although it's classed as being in torremolinos on a lot of websites, the hotel is actually in the province of la Carihuella. I think it would be confusing to keep both entries as it's the same hotel. thanks Van.
