I like Jet Airways good all round service...a very pleasant experience. I flew with them in March and again at the end of this month.
I will try to post But having a and and a dont hold your breath
I did look at some comments in another forum regarding Jet Airways but most of the remarks where pointed at "how pretty the staff are" as long as the food is better than My travel.
They run out of food on my way home and offered me a choc bar for my meal, I told them I was Diabetic and needed food or I would go into a coma. a diabetic meal was soon provided. I'm not diabetic but I was starving.

Just travelled back on the good connecting Goa/Heathrow Jet Airways flight and nothing wrong with the flight but they always get my food wrong. Asked for a vegan meal the first time we flew to Goa with them last year and they got it wrong so rang the London office a couple of days before we left this time and they assured me they had my meal request in the computer and I would get my vegan meal. NO I didn't but luckily I had taken a "packed lunch" with me. Went to Panjim to check the returning flight - again it is in the computer and it will be ok. NO it wasn't so if you have any food request other than veggie beware.
We are travelling with them in September so hopefully it will be 3rd time lucky.
Lezlie - have you booked your ticket yet - if not try Southall Travel - we got the best price with them on the Jet flights to Goa.
hi ..lez all the best on your venture ....i am not envious......"much"....good luck and regards keep on posting......john-doe
Wish I could do something similar.

This absolutely killed me!

As for saying I was a diabetic, well I had paid £15 for my meals and to be offered a bar of chocolate as a meal got my hackles up, my wallet was still hurting after being charged £1 for a bottle of water,

I have now booked the Kristal Sands Beach Resort, (sounds exotic)
That very reasonable , did you find it on the net or is it a hotel you found when you was in Goa earlier in the year, oh nearly forgot is it in Candolim or near there?
many thanks Jayne
ps have a great time you lucky so & so, wish it was me
Hi Jayne.
thanks for the link, it looks good.
There's also lots of accommodation in other countries, including Siem Reap. As we want to visit Cambodia in the next year or so, I've put this in my 'favourites'.
Cheers

Leave at 12.30 Liverpool - Euston - Paddington - Heathrow - Mumbai - Goa at 13.30.
If I don't got on line in Goa I will let you all know how I got on when I get back.
Lez
Did you book Jet Airways without the wait in Mumbai - worth every penny.
Yes I booked Jet Airways
How much did you pay for this time of year - we payed £474 return from September for an open 1 year ticket.
That is first class train from Lpl to heathrow £28
I think jet airways cozt £530
and BMi from heathrow to man was £38 coming home
I know I could have got it cheaper but what the hell My hotel is less than £100.
all in all I'm happy with the costs, abot the same price for a well man chack in the UK, thats one of the things i'm going for
