Oooh lovely, I went to Kefalonia same time as you a couple of years ago and I got sunburnt on my first day haha, take a little something for the evenings, its lovely this time of year because its lovely and cool in the evening, not cold but not sweltering either.

Its been about 17/18 degrees this week but up to 21-22 at the weekend so should be a bout lovely by the time you get there, where are you staying? We stayed in Scala when we were there but visited all around. Have you been before?

We are staying in Scala at the Nine muse hotel on bed and breakfast basis. Never been to Kephalonia before, been to Zante a few times and other Greek islands. I was a bit concerned about the weather as i've never been this early in the year before, so i am hoping its going to warm up a bit.

oooh lovely its so nice there, one of by best memories is sitting outside the front over looking the sea having dinner with my daughter, was lovely.

Scala is fantastic, I did the whole cave tour thing, went to the mellisanni and drogonratti (spelling!!) caves, the boat ride was amazing.

I also spent the day in Argostolli, the shops are quite upmarket and the coffees are too haha but scala itself is really lvoely.

There is a restaurant at the bottom of the hill called Pines2 i think, absolutely fantastic, had a lovely meal, nice music and then to the bar for cocktails (kittys was non alcoholic of course) and she just went down the steps onto the beach while i sat and relaxed.

You will have a lovely time because its such a nice place, if you get the chance there is one place you MUST visit. People call it Turtle Beach, but it does have another name, a taxi will take you down the stepe road to it for only a few Euros and will pick u up at an agreed time, there is a little wooden shack with a british woman with grey hair who makes home made burgers served with cold mythos, and perhaps one or two sunbeds, just a lovely place, sea is so warm there as it is shallow and its just a lovely place to visit.

you will have a lovely time, the weather will be just fine :):) I got a better tan at this time of year than i ever have in the height of summer haha
