Aye i noticed yesterday that the 3 sites that were forecasting rain on sunday/monday have now changed to glorious sunshine :tup

We're off on Wednesday. The 10 day forecast changes hourly and it's anyone's guess what the actual weather will be, it has changed from wet to sun then back to partly cloudy etc. etc.. My guess, plenty of sun!

Weather just now

Hi Guys

My dad is flying out to Ibiza/San Antonio tonight and is just wondering what the weather is like at the moment. I told him I know just the place to find out, anyone??

Returned yesterday from Figueretas. Weather was good and hot all week, couple of breezy days but that only enhanced the tanning process sitting at the edge of the beach. Hottest shade temp was about 85f and the coolest 77f. Night time temps did not fall below 75f.

Hi All
Heading out to Ibiza on Saturday night for a week and than onto Majorca for a week. Whats the weather like in Ibiza at present ?, some weather sites are showing it as bad.

very poor outlook for the next few days...... autumn has arrived in the Balearics. NE and Easterly winds bringing rain and cooler temps (20 - 23c).. saturday / sunday looks like the rain will intensify even more and by sunday wind increasing to 35mph !! poor weather for sunbathing

On the bright side.....their weather forecasters are nearly as bad as ours! But who knows. Statistically, September can have a few days of rain.

Apologies in advance for posting on 2 threads but I desperately need to have some ideas for places to visit/things to do if it rains in Ibiza. Going on Sat for a week ........ rain forecast for first 5 days :cry

Very pleased to report that we have been back a week from our hols and the weather was excellent. Despite an awful weather forecast we had 7 days of sunshine and no rain whatsoever. The 10 day forecast gave every day as "chance of rain" and showed no sun at all. We never wore anything with a sleeve in all week - including the evenings. Perfect!! :sun2

You were exactly right - we arrived in Cala Llonga on 1st October, we had a perfect week, followed by rain on Thursday, overcast weather until Monday when the sun came out for the afternoon (cathcing many unaware - many sore backs to be seen that evening!) returning to overcast but warm on Tuesday. Yesterday looked better (although we were cooped up in the airport for 6 hours so couldn't comment on how warm it was outside!)

Still wouldn't have swapped it for the weather here though

Still warm enough for a walk and sit on the balcony with a glass of wine - lovely!

Hi Thinmum, pleased you had a good one. Don't envy you holed up in Ibiza airport for six hours. Temp peaked at 75 yesterday, that was at half - five tea time!

we went to san antonio in july 2008 and out of the 10 days we were there, 5 of them were cloudy for most of the day.

when the sun was out temperatures reached 83 or 84 degrees but struggled to go above 77 when it was cloudy.

77 degrees dosent warm pools up, so it was a bit dissapointing.

thats why i would never go to ibiza for the weather out of mid summer.

We were in Figueretas September gone for a week and we were blessed with glorious sunshine for most of the week, temps averaging 80f. Been to the same resort late June where it was often unbearably hot, especially walking on the sand. Haven't been in May though.
