Hi.
I've uploaded some more Turkey pictures to my Flickr site, this time of Icmeler including the old village area and some trips to Marmaris and Turnuc:

As ever I think clikcing on the "set" and then using the slideshow option is the easiest way to view them all. Feel free to leave comments!
Cheers.
WOW Random I think a couple of the members on here need to be professional photographers. What a fantastic way for me to finish a Saturday night with a beer and your fantastic pictures thanks
Great pictures. Looking forward even more to going to Turkey for my holidays now. Ist time to Turkey.
WoW Random what a great picture show Thanks a lot
I am off to Gumbet on Thursday but looking at your photos make me wish I was off to Icmeler.
I will have to wait until October.
There are three lots of my pictures from Turkey now up - probably easiest to see them all on this page:

What I find interesting is that although the Altinkum pictures have been up for longer than the Icmeler pictures, the Icmeler set has been looked at by twice as many people. Maybe less people are interested in Altinkum?
I still think the Akyaka set is the prettiest though!
Cheers.
great set of pics - gives us a flavour of what to expect when we go to Icmeler in June. First time ever in Turkey
We're in Icmeler in June for the first time aswell and looking at those pics it looks like we've made a good choice. Really impressive photos. Out of interest what type of camera do you use to get those shots that sharp, detailed and colourful?
Marg
As it turns out my parents are in Icmeler at the moment and apparently the sun was shining today
Steve-mcr, there's an old photography joke that when someone cooks you a fantastic meal you compliment them by saying they must have a great oven
Most of those pictures are taken with a Canon 30D, which is getting long in the tooth now but still does the job in my opinion. Of course using some decent lenses helps, as does catching things at the right time of day so you have good light. Or in the case of my night time shots, a steady hand and a fast prime lens!
Cheers.
Random, no matter what camera I use I don't think I'll ever get photos that good. Takes years of practice I suppose. And a better camera than my current Panasonic Lumix
