rwb46, If you cooked me a nice meal, would I ask what brand of pots you used?

Joking aside, it's a Canon 30D. For the night shots I used a fast lens, the Sigma 30 F1.4.

Cheers.

Thank you all for the kind comments - glad you liked the pictures.

On the topic of the beach, we certainly noticed that Icmeler seems to be more crowded then when we went there a few years ago. There is hardly any of the beach that isn't covered by sunbeds & umbrellas and the area around the old village now seems to have been mostly built on. I expect that within another couple of years the conurbation will stretch solidly from the beach back to the hills...

nikkichick, those stalls are permanent and are alongside the canal.

Although I did go past the Icmeler Wednesday market when it was on, I didn't actually enter it this time. I've been in plenty of Turkish markets over the years and now I only go into one if I actually want to buy something.

But then, I am a bloke

Cheers.

Thank you Dadooronron.

You may have missed the post above where I said it was a Canon 30D and for the night shots I used a Sigma 30 F1.4 lens. I believe they were all shot at ISO 1600 in Tv mode at 1/100th.

Cheers.

Quality shots indeed! :)

But I do have to agree that the pics of beach would put me off going there. Canned sardines springs to mind
