The last Hotel review on Highland Beach didn't look as good as normal possibly just a one off, (bad waiter week) I'm sure someone will have a up to date report and will let you know.

I would definetly choose Phoenix Park.

We were in Goa in Dec & looked around Highland Beach (stayed there twice) & in my opinion much to large a complex. Staff didn't give the usual smile & I have heard that money as gone missing from safety deposit boxes (even with own padlock).

Family are staying at P/Park next week, we have looked in the rooms & they were spot on. I would definetly stay there.

i am staying at the highland again and its ok not flash or anything though but clean,if i was you though i would choose a different place just because of the building works it didnt bother us last december and am not expecting it to this dec as we get up early ish anyway and go to the beach i just would'nt recommend it to you incase you were bothered by noise thats all
if anyone answers to this dont turn it into yet another discussion about the highland building works please enough has been said on other threads

I know where the Silver Sands is and have only had a look,friends have stayed there with no complaints,good position to be in.

i stayed at prazeres resorts this year and i will not be going back to that hotel.
our room was full of bugs. every night when we came back our beds were covered in lots of little bugs and insects. the staff then covered the windows with newspaper and sprayed the room. the next night they were there again all over the bed.

i would recommend you stay at one of the other hotels as you would not want a repeat of what we went through

Phoenix Park...

We have stayed there for 2 years on the run...our friends stay at the Highland and they are going to book the Phoenix for next year.

Phoenix park in 2 weeks I will be staying there for the 4th time, I wouldnt stay anywhere else now.

We are off to Silver Sands in 6 days time!!!!!!!
