Wanting to Know if anyone got ill at the Grand Oasis Marien in puerto plata In May/June 2010 . My whole family got sick, My daughter been the worst with at one point just passing blood. Having tried to claim from thomson, They have basically said sod off. Im now in contact with simpson millar solicitors whom believe we have a case.

Sorry to hear about your problems. Have you posted on Trip Advisor as well? Someone has posted about it today. Is that you? I must admit I don't recall any reviews about food poisoning or any long threads (which you ususally get).
Yeah thats me . I had a private message from someone in canada not long after i put my review after getting back saying they also got ill. Other reviews stating some of the Hygeine issues i stated too.
There were a few people we spoke to whilst there that also state they had been sick.
