digby - I don't think it's a matter of being trusting nowadays - I just don't think there's those sort of bargains to be had any more.

I always book summer hols well in advance , because of having to take school holidays due to my work , but watch this space i am hoping that from 2012 i will be able to take them when i want them

Thanks for your offer of help. I love researching holidays and as a result we haven't been disappointed yet. The Greek islands are my favourite destination with an AI long haul thrown in every few years. We normally do a cheap week during Easter too.

For next Easter we've booked flights with BMI baby to malaga and a small and friendly B&B in La Carihuela. August's sorted too, with our second visit to kalamaki on a package holiday. Happy days

i always have difficulty choosing where to go during easter, as i like Goa, but this easter will be the end of the season in Goa, so we chose the caribbean for a change.

We may go for a cheap week to Turkey the first week of september, but we will have to see how our finances are at the time .
