I just wonder why traffic cell and Calangute panch is making such a fuss in the monsoon at nearly midnight?? I am sure there must be more pressing issues at hand, or at least better times to make sure the roads are clear... (just my opinion)

Roits errupt over vehicle parking row in calangute...

Addressing media persons, Deputy Superintendent of Police N C Raikar said the incident took place after the Calangute traffic police cell had lifted the two-wheeler of a Russian woman parked in a no parking zone along the Calangute-Baga road at about 11.40 pm.

For those who like to be a little merry in Goa.. A word of warning...

Reading that it would appear that you don't even have to 'like to be a little merry' as similar to a farmer the police like to plant things :yikes

- Gayleanne, glad you liked it. I found it interesting/scary... I have been in Goa for the last 10 years and thankfully not had any trouble, but it does make you think.
