yes Robbie strikes definitely on but lassigirl says Mumbai and Delhi not affected so no stress!! sorry to have worried you but they didnt say this on the news or in the paper or I would have mentioned it!!! they just said 'departures from dabolim will be unaffected but some arrivals may be'..........i presumed they meant all domestic flights (obviously not charters as they are direct) ....... anyway thankfully sounds like you should be fine, just been watching the news to double check but had a phone call from UK at crucial moment... you think they could have made that clear in the news earlier

The Times of India were reporting no delays at Mumbai today, even though some staff were striking, and they have measures in place should there be any problems in the next few days.

I heard the strike has been called off. Everything is back to normal. For those travelling to the south of India (for whatever reason), the airport in Hyderabad (capital city of Andhra Pradesh) has moved from the city center to the outskirts of Hyderabad... the travelling time is now about an hour from the airport to the city (in non rush hours). FYI.
