Anyone been with this tour operator, think it belongs to thomas cook, my friends booked a holiday today they got it off teletex it is with instant holidays and they work individual from there homes, they do have a website as well any info appreciated

I have used them before - you are correct they work from home...only thing to be wary of with any of the (numerous) Coop sites is that the flight prices they advertise (and maybe the holidays too - but not sure on that score) is rarely the price that they come back with...can't count the times I've rung and the prices have 'just gone up' - even though I'm usually booking 12 months + in advance
I've given up using them in the end because of this, and because you can normally get flights cheaper going direct to the operators if you can find out who they are using.
As far as our booking with them - no problems what so ever.
Rosiepeardrop - they are part of the Co-op group.
Thanks for the replys, they got two weeks half board for 500 pounds, they just booked it there and then, but were a little concerned after when she told them she was working from home
Working from home is a cheap way of the company operating a call centre, the person takes calls and sell the holidays from home (very family friendly) but the holiday is supplied with full backup and marketing by a parent company, in this case the Co-op who is an ABTA member.
Your parents have no need to worry about it at all.
Teletext isn't owned by the Co-op it is owned by Associated Newspapers Limited who publish the Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday and Evening Standard.

I have had some great deals with Instant holidays. One of the agents used to ring me when a really special deal was available.I think they are still based in Burslem,Stoke on Trent.
Thay got confirmation today, very fast, thanks for replies
My parents are going to the maldives in Jan, they booked with instant holidays, and i think its something to do with co-op travel, and thomascook, im not sure though
Just to add to your reassurances - over the passed few years, I've booked 3 holidays in all (1 for me, 2 for my parents) using a contact who works from home for the Co-op and they've all been fine.
All the holidays you see advertised on teletext are homeworkers.
