Agree [for once] Gooner, there is no bother whatsoever on schedule as the porters are all up the other side of the airport waiting for the charter flights, as on schedule it is mosltly Indians travelling from other parts of India, and after watching them, they only tip around 10 rupees tops

I have used them on my last 4 internal flights always .have been on time, fairly good sevice, didn't know about confirming flight, but had no problems

We are flying to Delhi with Virgin in Jan,then on to Goa with
Kingfisher,will we have to confirm our Kingfisher flights?has
anyone used this service, if so how good are they.
We nomally fly charter so hoping for better airport service on
these flights.

We flew with Virgin to Mumbai twice last season, both good and you are treated well.
Our son flew Mumbai to Goa with Kingfisher 2 years ago and says they were the best airline he has ever been on.
You should have no problems.

Kingfisher are magic they even have their own bell boys at the entrance to take your luggage to the check in. Roll on January.

We flew them several years ago it was for the 7am flight from Goa to Mumbai/Delhi we got there for 5.30am and guess what none of the desks opened until gone 7am the flight eventually left 45 minutes late causing us to miss our connection. Its difficult to comment on the service as it was such a short trip

Are you sure it was Kingfisher you flew with several years ago? I thought they had onlt started very recently, could be wrong though! It can be a problem if a domestic flight is late and you ned to connect to an International, can't rely on changed timings or even cancellations at times. 
we don,t have to worry about missing a flight as we are
staying over night both ways,but hope they will be on time

I forgot to mention you can check in on the net the day before as long as it is after the flight has left. We can check in from home before we leave the UK.due to the time difference.

We can check in our Virgin flight to Delhi from home,
but not the Kingfisher Delhi to Goa as we are in Delhi
for 4days before flying down to Goa

Please dont let this airport worry you , put it all down to experience like we do. We went through Sharm airport once , now that was horrendous , so Dabolim is a walk in the park. See you all there in November 07 or March 08 ( 2nd holiday --- 10th time to Goa ). Take care everyone 
This is India! It is the way it should be. People think Dabolim airport is bad for porters and the like. Well try Delhi and Mumbai airports they are bad for porters. Complete bedlam at times!!!

We are having problems booking with Spicejet using credit / debit card, anyone else had similar problems?
I also had a problem, in the end I booked with Kingfisher who together with Goair are the only ones who will accept a non Indian credit card.
Apparently you can use an American express card to book with Spicejet.
I have booked Jet Airways flights last month with makemytrip.com but they wouldnt book a Spicejet flight presumably because there is little profit for them in a Budget flight.
