can i suggest you take a look at the rci web site i have just had a quick look and it only says 7 casual 2 smart casual and 2 formal but there is a link for you to contact them, i have used this before and they are pretty quick with a reply, might be worth asking for specific days for your cruise. We went on voyager of the seas last year and the formal nights were 2nd & 6th nights the rest were casual dress. We are going on the same cruise as you on 25th april next year 4 adults and 1 child of 5 years any tips on the ship or trips would be a help. Happy holidays.
thanks stan simmons.

It's your cruise dress the way YOU want.

The ship guide is a hint.

Hi Stan, There is a problem with RCI website when I try to submit my question on their form it keeps coming up as `country not valid` and it won`t go through. I will have to try again later. I will certainly let you know how it goes on the cruise. I would have prefered a smaller ship but the price was right so it will be a different experience for us. We were on P and O`s Oceana last and that was the biggest so far. I just loved not having to fly!

Windjammer, I know what you mean but I`m afraid I am more comfortable blending in than standing out. It`s just my personality. I would love to be different but I am too old to change!

Thanks for your replies

First night is always casual- on ships this size all passengers may not have received their luggage at that time. Formal nights are usually on sea days.

THis ship is huge I think there will be plenty of people not dreesing up on the formal nights.

I guess we both find out soon we are on the TA in Nov.
I am still undecided about the DJ if I don't take it then smart casual all the way(don't do jacket/tie except the DJ).

I beg to differ. When we were on the IOTS those not formally dressed on formal nights were few and far between. I was told that the Windjammer was almost empty. If you want to blend in, go formal.
