TUESDAY 20TH NOVEMBER
Tuesday morning we went to Panjam on the bus. 8 rupees. we got off the bus at the ferry and took the ferry across the river. the farry is free. we went to the new big supermarket Vechal it was really fabulous. We must have spent 3 hours in there. the look on my husbands face when my sister-in-law and i came out of the shop was priceless. the boys had went for a beer. my hubby just loves shopping. :rofl i bought myself a lovely shell door curtain for 150 rupees. i have wanted one for a few years.

we went to Ganaish (sp) shack that day he was telling us that this was his first day opened. it took a long time for us to get our lunch. but he was realy nice and said he was sorry for the long wait..... the thing i was unhappy about at the shack was you have to pay for your beds.. i realy resent that. while we were at the shack my husband said those people behind you have holiday truth blue bands on but i was too shy to go over and ask who they were.
that night we just stayed in the hotel they had sizziler night on, good music and we had a nice night there.... (shame about the weak vodka)... that evening we called round to the Phoenix park to see the security guard to give him clothes i brought for his children... but unfortunity he had left.. we saw rocky, one of the staff who works there it was so nice to see him. my husband was sitting out at Haveli bar and rocky came right out into the street to say hello and shake johns hand
that day i had to text gemma 33 and ask her to pm mike i did not want mike thinking it was rude of me not to meet him. gemma gave mike my mobile number and mike was in touch and we arranged to meet again..... :pele

WEDNESDAY 21ST NOVEMBER
This is the day we go to Delhi and the Taj... Mahal. We were in the air port by 530 am. when we got to the doors the security said the information we had was not tickets so we had to go to THE GO AIRLINE DESK where we were given the paper work we needed. the airport was quick and the staff were lovey, the coffee was also good.
THIS IS WHERE THE NIGHTMARE BEGINS!!... when we got outside the airport our driver was to meet us with a card and our names on it. there must have been 200 indians with peoples names on cards but deffinatly none with our name on it.
so i said to my husband we will have to phone NAMASTA.... you should have seen the look on his face. he said colleen i hoped and prayed to god this would not happen.( but i have left the phone numbers in the hotel room) i felt my legs turn to jelly and had to hold on to the trolly incase i fell :rofl
i phoned my son at home (remember its 430 in the morning back home) no one answered the phone. i phoned my daughter who has just had a new baby but no answered the phone there either. my husband came up with the idea we could go back into the airport, go on the internet and get the phone number for NAMASTA from his hotmail.
the security would not let us in the airport he said they had no internet and to try departure lounge. so we went over to departures only to be told that there was no internet access at all in the airport.
we then decided that we would just go on to the hotel in a taxi and get reception to phone NAMASTA tours. but none of the taxi men had heard of our hotel. by this stage i am feeling ill i am going to throw up... :cry

i then thought i will ring mike richardson who was back in Goa. i got through to mike right away he was more than helpful mike was trying to get me NAMASTAS phone number from the holiday truth forum. i will never be able to thank him enough. then my hubby said colleen there is our driver he has a board with our name on it. i told mike we were saved the driver was here... all i could think of was here we are in a strange country, no one can speak our language we cant get on the internet, noone knows our hotel. i was just so relieved to see our driver i hadnt even got the energy to shout. the driver Sanjay explained to us that there was a very important person at the airport and that a protest was going on outside and he was so so sorry to be late.

sanjay took us to our hotel that was right in the middle of Delhi and really handy to everything. we got freshened up and sanjay took us on a tour of deli. we had lunch at pizza hut and walked round a fabulous shoppin area. later sanjay took us back to our hotel and we just had an early night after our big ordeal of a day... he wants to pick us up very early and take us to the Taj Mahal in the morning. :hols.......................SORRY ABOUT MY SPELLING

we had to be up early to go to the Taj Mahal sanji told us it would be 4 to 5 hrs on the road ..we had breakfast in our room that morning then we left our hotel and we were on the way ..
I have put photographs in the upload and I will add them here for you all to see the things we seen on the road to the Taj some unbelieveable things you all know only too well some things can only be seen in goa :rofl

The traffic was really bad that morning there was some big cricket match on and traffic was almost at a stand still...but we got through it anyway...on the way we saw camel carts....monkeys at the side of the road ....water buffalo cooling down in the hot sunshine we saw snakes ..we saw children begging as the cars stoped at the lights ...we saw a man under a lorry mending a punture we saw a road traffic crash ..we saw kids selling little bags of water .we saw a lorry with lots of men on it sanji said they were going to work ....we saw self made cars ...and sanji told us that only in some parts of indian these cars can drive on the road ...can you see how many people are in the self made car I get 14 ..hehe and on the lorry of workers there are about 20 men hehe.....
We stoped off for lunch and there was a lovely wee family there playing music to greet us I gave the little boy some clothes and bless him he was well pleased ....we saw a few lads with snakes they wanted me to put the snake round my neck .I dont think so :rofl
we had a lovely lunch and we went on our way again......we got to the hotel and it looked very nice when the room boy took us to the room i was so shocked it was really really nice ..I will add some photos .of the room ..we had to go to the taj right away because sanji said it did not open on a friday ........the taj mahal was out of this world it made me want to cry not that I was sad its just from I was a little girl I have always wanted to see it we spent hours there and at the end of the day the photos we got from the men who take photos there were fab ..and they only cost 100 rupees each I got to sit on the lady di seat ....but I have to tell you all the indians were fighting over the seat I have never see an indian cross or angry but im telling you they were pulling eachother of the seat to have their photo taken on it :rofl
we never got back to our hotel to 8 o clock that night as I wanted to see the taj in the moonlight ......we had dinner in the hotel and the food was the same price as everywhere it was lovely and the hotel had a magic man going round all the tables ...we had a few drinks in the bar after dinner and had an early night as we had to be up early for our full day tour of agra in the morning .....
