we have just came back from our first visit to ea cana and loved it , my 10 year old son said it was the best holiday ever and cried when we left as he met so many friends :cry :cry .

We stayed at the ereso which was great for kids and the staff were great .

Im just looking to book again for next year :)

Theres a small funfair in Es cana. A few entertainment bars, mini golf. A couple of outdoor areas with slides and rides with a bar area. Bucking broncos.
I have been several times to Es Cana and I think it is a very good resort for kids. If you do need a bit more to do there are water taxis to various other resorts and a good bus service to nearby Santa Eulalia.

Es Cana is a great resort for families of all ages, especially for young uns. I went last year for a fortnight and had such a great time that we are going back again. I don't normally go back to the same place twice because I like to experience different places, but because I have to go away in the school holidays this year and the prices being so much more because of this, I have decided to go back to Es Cana because I know my family will have a great time. Plenty of fun bars for all the family to enjoy. A great safe beach on your doorstep. Cala nova just around the corner with its bigger waves for great fun if your kids are a bit older and more importantly you will be made to feel welcome wherever you go. Great place :tup
Charlies has good family entertainment from bingo early evening to tribute acts later then a disco/club for the younger crowd from midnight. Always a good atmosphere even including the MC who is a right cockney wide boy ;)

This all sounds very positive. We have two kids and are staying at the Ereso for a week from 17th August. I'm so pleased to read that we will be made welcome as we went to Crete last year and they just didn't want us there.

Can anyone shed some light on what the costs of drinks are in the bars and how much the bucking broncos cost please? Will they allow the kids to ride them?

Like any resort, the prices vary from bar to bar, day to day and even hour to hour !

Last year we were paying 3 Euro for a beer and 1.20 for a soft drink in the hotel but the Apache bar was only 1.50 a beer.
There are happy hours around the resort that you can take advantage of but bars with entertainment such as Charlie's will always be a bit more expensive.

The Apache also had a 'bull ride' which was free but that may not be the case in peak season, it was basically used to get punters through the door in early June.

Duncan you will feel very welcome in Es Cana. There is something for everyone, we love it. It will be our 3 rd time in Es Cana and our 5th to Ibiza. Plenty of bars to keep you busy and plenty for the kids. 3 beaches to choose from, the main one in town, Cala Nova and Cala Martin a 10 min walk past the hippy market.

We arrive the same day as you the 17 August for 7 days. We were there 2 years ago and we used to go to Los Pinos bar, it`s a lovely Spainish bar with a great pool table for the kids, drinks here were good value, I think a local spirit and mixer was 2 euros and the meals were good value and very tasty.

I was just about to post the same question about Es Cana with kids :tup

What's the transfer time from the airport ? & what can we expect to pay ?

Thanks

Hi

Transfer time is around 30 mins in a taxi and should cost between 30 and 35Euro depending on the time of day.

Do remember that taxis will only take 4 persons should you have more than two 'in tow'.
