Don't forget that 'Prudence' the chancellor has put in a smash and grab raid that immediately adds a minimum of £20 extra APT to a long haul flight (and allow a little for inflation).

Will need to do a bit more checking as that is just OTT!!!

We are just back on Monday and travelled with Thomas Cook. Ive had a quick look on the Portland website. Its giving a price for the MD for 14 nights on 1 December from Birmingham (about a week later than we planned travelling) and it works out at £610 pp, a little better, thanks, we will keep checking
I've been phoning round looking for flights for 3 weeks mid nov and the prices are just way too high normally by now we are booked up.
Sleep we will be there end of Nov as well (hopefully) see you then
we booked for 31st of december. saw the holiday we wanted with f.c. in two days when we booked gone up £160, but it was £100 cheper to go for a extra week but the mrs couldn,t get the time off work never mind 2 weeks is better than none andy
Gemma33 Shame we miss one another by a couple of weeks this time, but like you say see you in nov.
We'll be there in November too. Going out 24th staying at CSM.
Around the 24th is the date we have been looking at as well, see you then Polly I hope (and sleep!)
WE will be there from the 17th for 3 weeks ...hope to see all of you we will all have a coffee haha
Just like the coffee you were drinking in Lazy Days Colleen???
Flights are much more expensive this year - I've booked for 8 Dec for 3 weeks and it went up £125 in the few days I was waiting for the ok from work.
Just checked the Thomson flights from Birmingham that we were looking at in January and the exact same flight with the same options is over £150 more too.

Looks like we're gonna book an ordinary package hol with FC and do our own apartments when we get there. It's the worst place ever for flight only especially if you live in the north of England.
Does anyone know if Thomas Cook have withdrawn Marinha Dourada from their brochure for 2007/2008. Ive checked various dates and its not coming up at all. Thomson holidays are very expensive for MD for next season.
