no definitely not, only salt water is either in the sea or in some of the swimming pools 
Well the water coming out of my shower in San Antonio was deffinately salty, just remember to close your mouth when you wash your face!
the water where we stayed in playa den bossa was salty,if you got it in your mouth or eyes,but it is clean.i have read that it is due to high mineral content in the water? it really is fine to shower in 
The water does taste salty but it's not taken straight from the sea if thats what you mean!

I think a lot comes from desalination plants...so maybe its not 100% desalinated?
