..we were in Candolim in January (my first time) and we encountered some real gob*****s - only at night and in bars/ restaurants, and only on a couple of nights, but my friends are old Goa hands and they were dismayed at the finger clickers, loudmouths etc etc, as was I, as I'd expected a lot more laid back vibe.
I know that everybody deserves to enjoy themselves on holiday but some people don't seem to be able to enjoy themselves without annoying others...
rant over
As for the rain, bring it on! I'd rather be sat on Baga beach in the rain than here waiting for the 20cms of snow forecast for Saturday.
Just 10 days to go and we will be there, eating the best chicken tikka makhni in the world with romali rotis to die for at Ronil Beach hotel. Oh, and we might have a kingfisher beer or ten, followed by copious amounts of Goan coffee liqueur for tuppence.........
hi again , we were there over crimbo and seen it first hand the mouthy sort but it seems to rubbing of on to the taxi drivers my wife and daughter had caught a taxi to the beach and the driver asked to much for the fare but the wife had been paying the rs100 there every day and the s..t she got off the driver well when she got to the beach she was in tears almost so i went and found him to give him a telling off , so yer see what you all mean.
