just thought i would let you all know and get even more excited about your holidays. my friends at work have just come back from protaras and they are all raving about it. they stayed at the alva apartments over looking fig tree bay and said it was lovely. they are all very brown and they were there for a week it was absolutely boiling!!!!
they said the sea was too cold at the beginning of the week but by the end they were never out. the best meal they had was in pernera at blue spice but they had to go straight back to the apartments afterwards as they were so full they couldn't move!
they are all dying to go back. ooooh i'm so excited only 32 more days to go!!!!

Those apartments are meant to be brilliant. We stayed a couple of doors down from them last year and everyone who stayed there was raving about them. They're in a superb location slap bang in the center of everything. I'm sure you'll have a great time.

oh WOW!!! Have heard great things about the Blue Spice and as its going to be close to me (I believe lol) will definitely check it out....and glad its hotting up ~ in 8 sleeps I'll be able to find out

My Dad has just come back from Limassol, and it was 73 degrees, rising to 75. He came back last Saturday.

Not boiling as yet but very plesant low 70's and I would say perfect , but we know what is coming...still a shade cool at nights at the moment!

never been to cyprus before and to be honest dont know who is more excited, me the kids or hubby. just relying on perfect weather for us to laze about in the sunshine.
have been to several greek islands before and have always had good weather but have been to canary islands in june and had 4 days of rain.
any thoughts???

The weather will not be a problem, it will be lovely! it always is, Cyprus has the best climate in the Med!
I did think it was very hot last week in Protaras - perfect weather and blue skies every day. Blue Spice was excellent - best meal we had!
Meerkat, we have eaten there In the past, and we have always had a lovely meal aswell.
No doubt we will go there again when we return In nine weeks
Sorry slightly off topic - is the Blue Spice in Pernera? If so does anyone know where it is in relation to the Isaac apartments please?
Hi Blue Spice is in Pernera, at the end near the Marlita beach if i remeber correctly, the food & service were superb, looking forward to a meal or 2 there again this year.

ohh sounds great, this time next week we'll be there hope it is very warm!
I checked the Cyprus weather site I use and it is levelling out in the 80's now.
By the time I get there in three and a half weeks time it should be late 80's and before I come home it should have it 90 degrees.
Marvellous stuff.
