Hi all,

i've never been to cyprus but i'm going there on the 30th July for 2 weeks. I'm going to ayia napa and i heard it's supposed to be extremely hot, even at night time!!! I'm soooo excited but i've got ages to wait. 10 weeks actually!! if its going to be that hot then this is what me and my friends will be doing when the sun comes out!! lol

July....It is hot night and day, but I guess you will be comatosed so it probably will not bother you...have a good time.

p.s it is 77 f today and getting warmer by the minute..first real heat wave expected this week!! oh no!!

hi all, 138 days and counting! lol . hope this heatwave is a long one jimbox! since i mentioned about future "babies being born with umbrellas sticking out of their heads" due to our rather inclement climate in a previous post ,we have had rain beyond our wildest dreams
down south where there are hosepipes bans it has been billed as "the wettest drought on record" it will be 137 days and counting tomorrow .....:)

We're not in a drought oooop North ----- but, guess what ---- its raining! We're totally fed up of the grim, depressing weather ----------- to any one in Cyprus -------- please don't complain about the sun!

My Inlaws are going to Cyprus with us this year, and she HATES flying ........ the flights pretty early aswell 10.50am..... so I
dont think she wll be having a drink to calm her nerves either

oh my gosh cookie!! i can't believe you don't get nervous or anything!! We've got a night flight and its not until 11pm so maybe i can sleep through, thats if i'm not too scared!! Heard it it was like a 4-5 hour flight!!

I dont like flying myself and always have a drink or 3 to steady my nerves before I go, this year we fly at 8.10am but that wont stop me, I'll be in the weatherspoons at Birmingham Airport having my first holiday beer at around 6.30am!

thats a good idea blue max, i don't really drink though, but maybe that will calm my nerves!!

OOh no, I love flying......... I dont get nervous at all.

I dont think I will be having a drink before I get on the flight ... Its a bit too early for me........ but once Im on, and my watch goes forward 2 hours to Cypriot time....... I can feel a G&T coming on
