Just booked this holiday in this accomadation for Sept this year.
Was going to go in June but with the world cup being on i thought it would be too empty with people not holidaying during the tournament or the opposite and all the lager louts spoliling it for my family.
Anyone with more info on these appartments other than what it says on the thomsons website or anyone who has actually stayed here, please get in touch. Looking forward to Gran Canaria as i have done Tenerife and that was great and this seems very similar in look and feel from what i have seen.

Don't be put off by the entrance into the complex, it looks a little dingy and off-putting, but once you walk through reception and out into the gardens you won't be put-off anymore!
It's very close to the English Centre which has great places to eat and lots of entertainment.
Any other questions, please ask away!
(I'm very jealous of you, hehe!!)
always feel better when someone else has stayed there and enjoyed themselves. September seems so far away - wish i was there right now !

hi has anyone been to the jarden del sol in playa del inglis. If you have can you let me know what it is like. Also does anyone know what the thomsons rep is like. Thanks
I've added these apartments to our review site. If anyone has stayed here please add your review by
Me & my girlfriend are stayin here end of August, and I was just wondering if anyone has stayed here before or has got any info on the place. Also I've been hearing rumours that Playa Del Ingles has gone awfull expensive and quiet. Hope this isn't the case.
Thanks.
Stayed here many years ago - before we had kids. Fantastic place. No facilities for children - ie clubs or games and you have to go off site to eat. Apart from this they were lovely and we look at them in the brochure all the time.
In all fairness the place does look really nice but i've heard mixed reviews.
In response to PDI being quiet - not last year anyway - in full swing in June when we were there - and will be even busier in August. When do you go and from what Airport? We're Northern Ireland.
I suppose your right about the reviews. Flying out August 31st from Cardiff. Glad to hear that cause been hearing rumours that Playa Del Ingles has gotten alot quieter due to the credit crunch. Not looking for anything 'crazy' just a bit of night-life would be ideal
You'll love it. Let me know how you get on.
Playa del Ingles is quieter than in previous years but there is still a healthy amount of people in the bars etc. The resort hasn't really changed it prices but of course with the sterling being weak against the € this does make things more expensive than usual. I'm sure you will have a great time don't worry.
I have stayed here years ago and from what I can remember the bathroom is on the 1st floor. My disabled mum coming on holiday with us and we'd love to stay here. Anyone know if there are apartments with a ground floor bathroom?
Jacci, how did you get on? May be too late for you now, and I may be wrong, however from what I remember Jardin Del Sol apartments to have some disabled accomodation available.
