The beach is across the road, and its only 10 minutes walk into the centre of the resort.

VERY HOT spot - good for serious sunbathers. We tended to go to the other pool. It had a bar which sold both drinks and food a shop selling icecream and it had plenty of sun loungers
We had breakfast there a few times and it was very good, but if you're eating out there are so many places to choose from you'll find your own favourites.
We stayed at the back of the complex in the Narcicus block, this was a nice place to stay. We looked out onto stunning gardens, and it was very quiet. I emailed them before going and asked to stay there after reading posts on this website (I'll PM you with the email address - for some reason I am unable to submit this post with the email address on it). If I remember correctly, I did this after reading a post which said some of the rooms elsewhere on the complex tended to get very warm due to there location, and also because they are away from the hotel's main bar which get VERY noisy.
The staff there were very friendly, and spoke very good english.
You can catch a Dolmus from right outside if you fancy going into Bodrum (worth a trip).
As I've already said, you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to restaurants - but boy does it get tedious trying to dodge the guys stood outside restaurants asking you to eat at their place. I know hassle is part of the Turkish experience, but I found Gumbet to be OTT compared to elsewhere. One little tip that works if you have kids with you (a bit naughty but it does the trick) - you know how they always give the kids a round lolly on a stick after meals. Well if you get fed trying to dodge the hassle outside restaurants, save the stick from the night before and tell the kids to walk around with it in there mouths while you look for a place to eat. It works! The guys outside the restaurants think you've eaten, and just smile and say good evening as you walk past - GENIUS Eh!!
Hope you enjoy your holiday - you've made a great start with your choice of apartments.
ms.mo - I stayed at the Jasmin a few years ago. There are three 3 pools there, the one at the front of the complex (by the bar) got a little rowdy we didn't like that pool (a bit too noisy) but plenty of others seemed to be having a great time there. There were two other pools at the back, one on the roof, We had breakfast there a few times and it was very good, but if you're eating out there are so many places to choose from you'll find your own favourites.

Stayed there twice. Found it okay but the prices at the hotel bar were among the most expensive in the whole resort. Yo are better drinking in the hotel on the left before you come to the jasmin
