I have bought one of these(5 euros) for phoning family and friends back home. Can anyone explain the difference in the dialling numbers on the left hand side?
there is a number which says Toll free which I rang at first. For phoning the UK it usually gave me 300 minutesw approx.
I then tried ringing the 901 no at the top and(this says Local Access) it gave me 2000 minutes??
I asked at my local locutorio and seemed to get the impression that I would be charged for the 901 call. As I have gone absolutely mad this week, phoning people in the UK AND Greece for hours,I am slightly worried!!I thought these cards were prepaid??? The lady was speaking in Spanish and though I understood a bit ,most of it passes me by!!
is Telefonica, the charges are 4 cents per connected call plus 4 cents per minute at peak times. Off peak calls to
901 numbers cost 4 cents per connected call plus 2 cents per minute. 901 numbers in Spain are the equivalent of
0845 numbers in the UK.
If you are calling the 901 number from a mobile phone, cost are considerably more. These vary with each mobile
network. What do the alternative numbers start with? 902 are more expensive than 901 and 903 cost even more.
Anything starting with an '8' is premium rate.
