Just read on Costa Blanca News website that due to high sea temperatures (already 5 deg warmer than the hottest months of the year), that there will be increased number of jellyfish, etc.. Apparently a Portuguese man-of-war jellyfish has been spotted in Cartagena.
Just wondering if anyone has experienced this already in the Javea area? We're off to the area on 29 July and sincerely hope it wont be the case as we all like going to the beach; tend to go most days. On the last day of our holiday last year, we didn't spend long in the sea at the The Arenal as people were getting stung by red jellyfish.
If this is the case, we may have to rethink some of our holiday and use the pool more.
TIA

It's cooled down quite a bit the last few days.
