i have always wanted to stay self catering in that area but cannot find an apartment thats suitable for someone with walking difficulties(level access, no steps and somewere i can store a scooter)
Have you considered staying in the sol Aloha Puerto hotel.?
There are private apartments for rent within the hotel and I'm sure you would be able to use one of their plugs in the foyer to charge up the scooter battery, and then use the lifts within the hotel to the apartment.
The pool is a bit dodgey for getting access to, because there are steps down to it, but if you're not too bothered about the pool, I think the Aloha might suit you.
As you come out of the drive of the Aloha, you're straight onto Calle Salvador Allende where all the British/Irish bars are situated opposite.
When you come out of the drive and onto the road, if you turn left, just a few metres along you will see that it's the end of Salvador Allende,(there's a stream there, that runs from somewhere up in the hills and flows into the sea).
But at the end of the road (again on your left) there is a lit tarmac lane with no traffic which runs by the side of the stream, which will take you straight down onto the promenade without any kerbs or traffic to negotiate.
These people might be able to help you out
