I will cover a few things in this so that it can help anyone with any questions they may have on Marmaris at the moment
First of all, Kaan Apartments was surprisingly a good place to stay amid the reports being put on by members on here and other sites. Obviously one bad experience and they think its always gonna happen.
FlyJet perfect also, flight early there and back and had not one problem with them except not having in flight entertainment
Prices have gone up in Marmaris but not as much as I thought:
Full English Breakfast : £2
Pint Efes : £1.20
Typical meal with drinks for two : £17 e.g. steak meal and lasagne with drinks
Also, the added bonus was that I proposed to my girlfriend (now fiance :)) while I was there on Marmaris beach near the bazaar at midnight and she said yes which made the holiday all that more special.
Hassling and aggro in shops was at a minimum due to this new law enforced except from Excursion Tours and Jewellers we seemed to get hardly any hassle which was a nice touch.
