Like you said a holiday is what you make it,,and lets face it you can't get better than Egypt!!!!!!

But we have to do the pyramids cos of the 12yr old, know its going to cost but having been on this site it seems better to book in Naarma Bay?????? Is that right???????

Doreen, i'm normally a great believer in using local travel companies to arrange excursions when on holiday, as long as they have the requisite insurances and a reputation that i've heard about. However, travelling such a distance from Sharm to Cairo and taking all things into account, I personally think you would be safer to rely on one of the major tour companies. I don't know who you are travelling with but you can be sure that they will offer the Cairo trip.

PS. As long as you can stand the travelling, what you will see is truly amazing!

We're going with Cosmos and intend on flying to Cairo.
But looking on some threads people are saying book with a agent in Naarma :?

As I said Doreen, I can only give my personal opinion. If you do decide to use a local agent, just make 100% sure that they are insured for the trip that they contract with you for. I'm sure you will work it out the best way.

Doreen I am sure you will have a great time. Thing to remember is that everyone has very different expectations of a holiday - one person's idea of a noisy and overdevelopped resort might seem the perfect fun and lively place to be to someone else. Reviews are very helpful, but also very personal so best to stay open minded until you get there.

Until we went to Egypt all our holidays had been self catering in the belief that it was easier with children and gave us more freedom. My husband never really enjoyed lazing by the pool and liked to go off and explore.

However I have never seem him unwind so totally and relax as he did in Nuweiba. He never got bored and loved the snorkelling. Last year he even read a book which he is normally far too restless to do. I found it great not having to cook or make decisions about where we going to eat all the time and the girls loved the freedom to go off and do what they liked. I took a whole load of glo-stick bracelets with me which they thought were great, but in fact gave me a very good idea where they were after dark! Don't tell them that . They made friends and despite some of the negative aspects of visitors of other nationalities that have been touched on here, the girls from the Czech Republic were by far the friendliest and have remained in touch.

We are going for our third visit this year and have never done that with any other holiday destination so relax and enjoy.

Hi Doreen, the kiroseiz three corners is not actually in Naama Bay, it is outside of the main naama bay so don't worry your not right in the thick of it, but close enough!
Have a great time!

The Kirosiez is a wicked hotel, we stayed at their Beach Resort in the Bungalows, amazing but you still use all the facilities of the hotel. You can also hire the bungalows for a night or two if you wish. Best of all, no kids at the bungalows! I am not against kids, i just prefer animals, and i dont like unruly uncontrolled kids in my face when i am trying to chill out. The hotel had quite a few annoying cheeky brats there, funny enough, their parents were always nowhere to be seen, they were little *****. But the hotel itself is great, goo location, excellent bus service, say hello to the infamous Mr Naggy the bus driver, what a top character, always laughing and he is very popular with the locals too. Chico is the resident ladyboy entertainer in Kirosiez, he is soo funny.

Welcome to the forum 'Kitten, you will find that you have many kindred spirits here regarding the dolphins and I must admit to finding your views on unruly kids rather akin to mine!
