just booked the Maldives Sept 09

Not really a discussion, but just booked my holiday to the Maldives for Sept 09!!!

Off to Fihalhohi Island for 2 weeks and staying in a water bungalow!! once in a lifetime holiday for us and cant wait! not going to start counting it down just yet though

so if any info about the island that would be good, been reading reviews and sounds like paradise!

Hi, I have not been to the island that you are talking about but I have been to White Sands Beach Resort for my honeymoon in 2006 - it was the best holiday ever - I absolutely loved it and I am sure that you will love it too.

It is just like you imagine - paradise!!

Do you need to get a seaplane to your Island?

no we dont need to get a seaplane as the island is only about 30 mins
from the airport so going by boat.
i know the seaplane would have been a fantastic form of transport but if we enjoy it that much we may go again!!

We've booked this island yesterday for Oct 2009 - just for a week. Off to Vilamendhoo January 2009 also - can't wait!
