Ps, saw the new hotel development that is being constructed on Filfla that Dave is going to, it looks really rustic and I believe it is to be called Il-Bombie mejjet ghasfur.
Glad to hear that you had a great time, but not surprised!
Stone me time sure goes quick and it seem like a million years since our last visit and yet it's only a couple of weeks ago. Had a bit of a Maltese night with wine, honey rings, nougat, kinnie, cactus liqueur etc that we brought back, and it went down really well with our friends.
We're missing the place already so I guess we'll be thinking hard about our next visit. I know you'll be returning November so not so bad for you. Look forward to your report and anything new you found worth investigating,
Trev
Glad you had a great time, welcome back
did you drink all the hop leaf?????????????
Welcome back
Hi Malta31, yes I tried very hard to drink all the Hopleaf but I may of missed a couple possibly in the Nappa bar, Graham you will be pleased to hear that I have brought back quite a few Gbejna and many packets of Galletti so tasty snacks all round for us, when are you planning to go back Graham ?.
Could it have gone so fast, once he was here, then he was there, and then he was back again.
According to slimma2 I was bang out of order
Sorry, I know it is a silly joke but I couldn't resist.
Did you see the new Valletta Waterfront Project? It is not quite finished yet but is looking nice already. A couple of restaurants now open with some open-air live music, a toy and gift shop, and a very well stocked book shop all open seven days a week, even in the evenings. Nice to see a bit of life back in the capital in the evenings. I took this picture last Sunday.

Hello ingliza, just had a look at the Valletta waterfront site you put up it looks very good, will have to try it out when we come over next time, it is a pity that there is not a lot going on a night in Valletta it could be so nice with a few good bars for the tourist.
Still waiting Dave
Hi Dave, you are quite right mate yes I did promise, no it's not the hoppies that made me forget, in fact I haven't forgotten or at least I don't think I have but then again can't remember, as long as I don't forget I will do it as soon as possible, just been feeling to cheesed off after coming back to grotty old blighty to re:kindle fabulous memories of those recent unforegettable magical Maltese and Gozitan days just yet .
Hi Sliema2, well you may be glad to know or you could be as sick as one of those old parrots that it looks as if its Malta for me and Mrs Holidaymaker next July. Though it could well be a remake of the holiday we had 12 years ago with a twin centre, a week on Gozo as mark has said he would bye me a pint of cisk, and then a week on Malta, it may seem a long way of but these things need a lot of planning.
So, please Dave, forgive Sliema2 for drinking too many Hopleafs. Shows the bloke has real taste!!!
Trev
Ok Trev, just for you I will.
